Personal Bio
My name is Millie Francis and I was a media student at UCW. I have got a bachelor degree in film and media. I really enjoyed this course as it gave me a range of different skills such as filming, editing, producing and much more which can be seen in my films. Throughout my college course, I had been in project groups to create a documentary, a film trailer, a music video, a TV advert, client brief training videos, animation and a multi cam game show. I have gained a lot of skills from these projects, some of the skills I have learnt are, knowing how to work a film camera, how to edit using final cut pro, how to work sound and set the lighting up in the studio. The skills I learnt in college media course helped me to create my films in Uni.
I am really enjoyed my Uni course as I loved the different films I created as two projects are the same, I loved working with different people in my class and I loved learning a new skill everyday. I've really enjoyed learning and creating the animation as it was a lot of fun and I got to be really creative when I produced it. It has made me consider animation as a career in the future.
In my spare time, I really enjoy going for walks, taking pictures and spending time with my family. I also really enjoy listening to music and going to concerts, my favourite artists to see live are Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low and The Vamps. I also love listening to my vinyls and watching tv shows.
